Students in fine arts explore painting, drawing, sculpture, and screen printing, etc. Within this space, students will learn different mediums and techniques to create visually stunning works of art. In the art classrooms, the walls to furniture are mainly white in colour. We want to create a white box atmosphere, a blank canvas to begin their artistic journey on, a white space for thoughts and to express inner emotions.
In this room, our students learn fashion design and can utilise the space to display their work in the style of a gallery. In this space, students develop presentation skills and receive peer feedback and critique from teachers and guest speakers that serve as creative inspiration. Students explore a variety of techniques here from 2-dimensional drawing to 3-dimensional fashion design.
The textile studio is a space for students to translate their design inspirations through structure, pattern, composition, colour, decorative embellishment and material tactility. Students will learn how to turn creative ideas into actual printed, dyed and constructed textile samples with studio-based design process and practice.
Our ICT and Digital Media room are outfitted with the latest computers and technological resources. Students can learn digital photography, film, animation, graphics as well as develop their computer skills.
Our Design and Technology space allows students to learn the theory and processes of design, as well as gain hands-on experience in working with a variety of materials, from 3D printing to woodworking. We provide students with top-of-the-line tools they need to turn their vision into working models.
This space is designed for a variety of purposes, including: holding art exhibitions, Christmas concerts and school performance; displaying school work, and for staff and students to use this communal learning area to collaborate on a variety of projects.
